General Notes

Vaultek WiFi safes will only connect to 2.4 gHz networks. Access points are not recommended. We suggest connecting your safe directly to the router using the Vaultek WiFi app or with the router’s WPS button. Once connected, view your safe’s online dashboard at dashboard.vaulteksafe.com.

Get Your Safe Online

Using Your Smartphone

You can get your safe online using the WiFi app. Android using can download the WiFi app from Google Play and iOs can download from the Apple Store. This app is different than the Bluetooth app. Be sure to look for the WiFi symbol and icon.

Using WPS

You can also get your safe online is using your routers WPS button.

WiFi Smartphone App

The Vaultek WiFi app is an incredible management tool. Android users can download the WiFi app from Google Play and iOS can download from the Apple Store. This app is different than the Bluetooth app. Be sure to look for the WiFi symbol and icon.

Using Online Dashboard

The Online Dashboard is a simple way for you to manage your safe and set preferences. It can be securely accessed from any browser.

Visit dashboard.vaulteksafe.com.

Low Power Mode

We recommend Vaultek Wi-Fi safes to always be plugged in for the best performance. However, if a power source is not easily accessible the safe can still operate for several months using the included rechargeable battery in Low Power Mode.

History Log Data Retention

Your safe’s history log will retain 2,000 of the most recent activity entries for you to view from the Vaultek WiFi app or online dashboard. After the 2,000 entry threshold, any activity entries 180 days and older will be deleted from our servers.

You may download a CSV file for your safe’s history log for your personal records as needed using the online dashboard at dashboard.vaulteksafe.com.
