I've had my LifePod 20 for almost a month now. This is by far the best quality waterproof case I have ever had and may buy another one in the near future. The features are great and it keeps my firearm secure and easy to access. Highly recommended.

I’ll start by saying I’m not the biggest Colion Noir fan but I do dig the camo pattern 😜 The up charge for the pluck/ply foam and “leather” organizer is high IMO.

With that said, the case itself is very nice. It’s well constructed and the “plastics” used appear to be high quality. As for the fit of a pistol, spare mag, and other EDC items, it’s tight.

For context, I’m going to put in a slimline Glock 48 (Actual gun: G43X COA w/. Radian Afterburner) size pistol with optic and Streamlight TLR7 HLX Sub. It’s a relatively small gun that fits fine in either a vertical or horizontal orientation. With the WML attached and the included two pieces of backer foam, the accessory tray only fits by putting enough downward pressure on the gun to compress the foam. The tray won’t fit otherwise. There is no way you can use the standard egg crate foam. The pluck/ply foam should work because you’d put that on top of the two thinner pieces of foam padding, but I haven’t tried that yet.

IIRC, others have mentioned that the optional handle comes as standard with the case (it actually came with the “normal” Titanium colored case also). In either case, I don’t believe it’s included in the description. I wish there was a way to use the included security cable without taking off the handle.

The biometric set up is pretty straightforward and the case responds quickly when you want to open it. I’m not sure if it’s good for the lock but the quickest way to open it is to undo the latches first and then unlock. Otherwise you have to put a little downward pressure on the case to unlatch. Not a big deal and it’s the way I’ve been doing it.
