LifePod 20 Biometric Colion Noir Edition

Excellent unit. As advertised

First purchase with Vaultek and based on the product it won’t be my last.

I've had my LifePod 20 for almost a month now. This is by far the best quality waterproof case I have ever had and may buy another one in the near future. The features are great and it keeps my firearm secure and easy to access. Highly recommended.

I’ll start by saying I’m not the biggest Colion Noir fan but I do dig the camo pattern 😜 The up charge for the pluck/ply foam and “leather” organizer is high IMO.

With that said, the case itself is very nice. It’s well constructed and the “plastics” used appear to be high quality. As for the fit of a pistol, spare mag, and other EDC items, it’s tight.

For context, I’m going to put in a slimline Glock 48 (Actual gun: G43X COA w/. Radian Afterburner) size pistol with optic and Streamlight TLR7 HLX Sub. It’s a relatively small gun that fits fine in either a vertical or horizontal orientation. With the WML attached and the included two pieces of backer foam, the accessory tray only fits by putting enough downward pressure on the gun to compress the foam. The tray won’t fit otherwise. There is no way you can use the standard egg crate foam. The pluck/ply foam should work because you’d put that on top of the two thinner pieces of foam padding, but I haven’t tried that yet.

IIRC, others have mentioned that the optional handle comes as standard with the case (it actually came with the “normal” Titanium colored case also). In either case, I don’t believe it’s included in the description. I wish there was a way to use the included security cable without taking off the handle.

The biometric set up is pretty straightforward and the case responds quickly when you want to open it. I’m not sure if it’s good for the lock but the quickest way to open it is to undo the latches first and then unlock. Otherwise you have to put a little downward pressure on the case to unlatch. Not a big deal and it’s the way I’ve been doing it.

Nice item

Great

Handles my full size and extra

I love it!! Buts it’s kinda heavy.

Great product, as advertised. Easy to use, simply set-up, portable, convenient. Would HIGHLY recommend product and looking to purchase more.

My go to company for secure firearms storage. I love the LifePods, which are superior to other lockboxes I've tried. I look forward to using some of their other products. Also, their customer service is great! Every time I've contacted them, they have been responsive and friendly. Highly recommended.

Great company got just what I wanted

Great service fast shipping!

Super easy purchase. The product arrived quickly and undamaged. The free base was a bonus! Items really help organize the safe and store the pistols easily. Very happy with all products from this company.

Love this safe!

Fantastic customer service on my error. They took care of my blunder in ordering instantly. Follows up and help guide me to the best purchase. Great company. The pod is speak highly functional easy to use and everything g advertised. Thanks again!!

This Lifepod is a must have. Especially for those of us living in Kalifornistan. We have to abide by the strict draconian gun laws or risk having our 2A rights being infringed.

Secure safe definitely recommend cable is a added bonus

It is truly difficult to give an honest review of a product that has not arrived yet. In 3 days time it will be a month since this order was processed. Although, the company was been response when I requested ETA update, they basically said it's in transit. Not very helpful. In the future they may want to look at shipping differently and requesting a review once they have confirmation their product has actually arrived. On another note I ordered a different product from this company a year ago and it arrived in a timely manner, this could have been because it was being shipped with in the same state the company is based out of. However, the paint is chipping off of it and it's hardly ever used.

Fingerprint reader barely works, everything else seems built solid so far. Save yourself the money and buy the non-fingerprint version.

I have the new Vaultek NSL2i “visn” safe. I love the fact that it mounts on the side of things and is out of the way. The WiFi/app and biometrics is really cool and works fine. HOWEVER I wish it had more room. My Glock 45 with a rmr and a X300 weapon light doesn’t fit. My sig Sauer P320X full with a Romeo 1 red dot doesn’t fit. No clue what they had in mind when designing the foam for this Glock and Sig are the biggest brands out there. The plastic thing that your red dot is suppose to fit when they say it’s “cut for optics” just gets in the way from the gun sitting deeper in the safe. I had to cram my P320 in there and ripped some of the foam adhesive. I think they need to go back to the drawing board on the foam cut/ sizing. I want a full size gun with a weapon light as a bedside gun. The safe fits compact / carry guns perfect. Also, I wish the safe would open with a little more force. I angled mine down to help with the slide. Overall I’d buy this again, don’t let it deter you. but I wish they’d do something about the foam mold/ cut out.

Got the safe box in original packaging and accessories. Looks new and sold at a great price that I couldn’t pass up. So glad I got it practically half off the price. Wanted the biometric finger print reader and was a breeze to program password and finger print. Unlocking it is faster if you use finger print reader. Than 4 digit code. My Sig Sauer P320 X5 Legion green dot, surefire light with 2 mags fits well perfect inside. My Agency Arms Glock 17 with green dot and couple mags also fits great. Like the business card organizer it comes with Colion Edition Camo. Awesome product!

High quality build, looks great and functions exactly as I hoped. Would buy again.

Great safe. Very secure and reliable

Great product and arrived rather quickly. I am happy with the overall experience.

This is the second clock safe I have purchased. I love the convenience for me but it also being out of reach of little hands.

Fast shipment, quality product

Works as advertised. The first one I purchased was too small, but I really liked it, so I bought another, although bigger. Love them both!

Arrived quickly and no problems. Can’t ask for more.

Recipient of the safe was very happy to receive it . Sad that you don’t ship to Canada though. I had to drive to the us to get it.

I bought it for my husband and he loved it.

Fast shipping , great product
