LifePod 10 SIG Edition

This is my second Lifepod. Great product will continue to do business in the future.

Exactly as expected. High quality materials, fit and finish. Locking mechanism functions with ease, locking and unlocking. My pistol and two magazines fit just right.

LifePod 10 SIG Edition: I dig it. Only one minor gripe. For some odd reason, they placed a very sticky yellow and red instruction sticker on the front top. It ain't pretty, the safe is prettier. As I took the plastic label off, it left a very sticky thick glue residue on the safe. Why on earth would they do that? Yuk feel, yuk look. It's very hard to clean/remove the glue without ruining the finish. Else, excellent quality and reliable.

Got the Colion Noir Life Pod and it is fantastic. Opens quick, is a high quality safe and has all the accessories included. I have peace of mind knowing the contents are secure wherever I am. Thin enough to fit under the seat of the truck and with the included security cable it checks all the legal boxes for any situation.

The safe itself is well made. The methods of entry including the biometrics operate well. The EDC tray seems a bit limited in use if a gun is placed in the lower portion of the unit. It most likely will need to be removed and stored somewhere. My biggest issue with this unit is the handle hold mounting slots. There are two slots that hold each end of the handle. When you want to also use the provided cable to secure the vault to something you must remove the handle and swap for the cable. ADD a third cable notch PLEASE.

The Vaultek/Sig collaboration LifePod 1.0 is perfect in every way except one. It fits my Sig X-Macro perfectly (2 magazines). It tethers to a fixed object (great for added security). The biometric works great. Love the anti-picking feature. It's aesthetically pleasing. It's water and drop resistant. They've thought of everything except one thing - making it fireproof. Trust me, I will 'not' be returning this, this is a keeper for sure. I just wish they made them fire resistant. Other than that I highly recommend. I especially like the body bag that you can purchase for it for taking it to the range.

Best safe I bought

I love the safe. I have small kids and all the added security features really do work. Even if someone bumps into the safe, I immediately get an alert and the alarm sounds. The tamper notifications are exactly what I wanted in a safe.

The web site was user friendly, and checkout worked very well. I was able to find what I wanted, and the descriptions were very detailed and easy to understand.

Great safes Quick Shipping

I ordered a vaultek safe for my son (Order ID:709063) and when it arrived it was locked shut, no keys enclosed. He called Vaulrek, but no one answered, said "leave a message and we will call right back," but no one called back in three days. Need help to get this corrected or return for exchange, but no help provided.

It’s very well built and extremely secure (a MUST for me because I have little kids). But, while being very secure, it also can be opened rapidly, which is essential for any scenario of home defense.

Excellent safe.

Got a refurbished Sig branded Vaultek to save a few bucks and it works great and keeps everything nice and secure. The unit looked brand new and I’ve had no issues at all. Looking forward to buying another one for when I travel with my other firearms.

I love this case and i wish i had bought it sooner. That said i wish it had a little less 'plastic' feel and i wish the foam inserts in the holders stayed in place better. I would also like additional accessories to further customized the storage configuration. That said, i would most certainly recommend it to a friend.

I'm a big fan a Sig guns and related products, so when the Sig collaboration Lifepod came out I knew I had to have one. I've bought another VaultTek product prior to this one so knew the quality was high and its easy to use.
