Essential Smart Station DS2

I absolutely love this safe, it checks all of my needs. I opted not to get the finger print reader and honestly the keypad is so responsive I couldn't imagine even using it. Well worth the price.

The only thing I don’t like is installing the batteries, I have big hands had trouble getting the batteries installed, but the battery cover was a big pain.

Easy to set up although I had some trouble setting up the biometric function. You have to be very careful and not lift your finger up completely when doing the three scans. I did it via trial and error and a little help from Chat GPT. Now that it's set up, it works great.

Because of cost I gave it a 1 star, way to expensive, but the product itself is great.

I had purchased one small safe from Vaultek for my car and found the quality exceptional. I returned to purchase a larger safe and accessory for our home. Due to a change in family circumstance and well after having taken delivery of the new safe, I contacted Vaultek and asked if they would consider accepting a return despite the length of time I had it. I explained my situation and the the items had not been opened, and I have to say the company were both highly responsive and incredibly helpful. They accepted the return and processed the refund promptly. So I can say two things about Vaultek: 1) The product I purchased from them is quite impressive. 2) The experience I had when needing to see about a return was also exceptional. I hope and intend to do business with them again in the future and wish them every success. My experience tells me it will be well deserved.

Overall, this safe is an impressive addition to my nightstand. It is sturdy, well-built, and clearly made from quality materials. However, when fully loaded and the drawer is extended, it has a tendency to tip forward. The solution is the mounting plate (sold separately, naturally). I did purchase said plate, but chose not to install it since it requires drilling into the furniture, something my spouse and I have differing opinions on. As for the wireless charger, great in concept, underwhelming in execution. Charging speeds are leisurely at best, and the lack of MagSafe compatibility feels like a missed opportunity in 2025. Still, aside from those quirks, it’s a solid and reliable safe that earns its keep. Just don’t expect it to double as a fast-charging station.

Excellent product! Even greater support going on behind the scenes. Thanks again and already had a friend order from y’all.

issue with my first safe and shipping once i called they made it right ASAP and the peron who picked up the phone personally walked my safe accross the floor and ensured it was shipped same day. This is customer service!!

Advertising for this product was clear, complete, and did not over-promise. Neither was the advertising mode excessive. It illustrated key points significant to the target demographic. Price point was not unattainable. Packaging was spare, and high quality. The item itself delivered on every promise, which was the expected end from such a well constructed add campaign. The redundency systems for lock up and access are especially well thought out. I will be anxiously watching for the evolution of the product line. Things such as weight reduction, overall carry size for larger frame sidearm, and continued F.A.A. compliance. Any improvements that can be made in regulating legal transport would, of course, be well recieved.

I have not been able to clearly understand how to assemble the "Cigar" Valtek Safe. Have not been able to use it and thought it be an easy assembly process. The end result is that it is not being used and I have been unale to find online support or online video demo's for the Cigar Safe.

I ordered two safes, they arrived quickly and ready to go. I was blown away at how solid and well built they are. With gun safety being a top home priority, you can do better.

Company has pretty fast shipping, no issues. One tiny issue with the safe it's self, already been noted in multiple reviews- the wireless charging plate on top is very touchy on how you place your phone. Have to move your phone around to get it to connect, have to get the exact right spot! However minus this one small issue, it functions as promised and seems very high quality.

Excellent safe. 3 pistols and have room for 1 more. Don’t hesitate to get this safe.

Phenomenal product! Great delivery time! Safe works flawlessly and is a sturdy piece of equipment I Love it !

Great customer service!

Fast delivery. Packaging very well done.

Bio metrics do not work smoothly.

To be quite honest, I haven't had a chance to use it yet. I have installed it in the car and it installed just the way I pictured it and wanted it. I'm looking forward to actively using it. I did have to order the four foot cable however to make sure I could easily get to the safe under the seat.

First impression out of the box: The product itself is great. The quality and and the craftsmanship top notch. Very impressive! However, the excitement and euphoria where quickly dashed when I tried to set it up. This is an area they can definitely improve on! The literature that came with the Vault were basic, somewhat cryptic and hard at times to follow what they are referring to (pictures would help). I searched the internet to find a setup video but could find nothing that was put out by the manufacturer. Hell, I thought the QR Code on the product would take me to a setup tutorial on YouTube, but I was only half right....It did take me to YouTube, but it was for an ad for the product. I REALLY wanted to say I LOVED this product from box opening to usage, but I honestly got pretty frustrated trying to figure out the setup! Could've been 5 stars, but.....

This is a perfect size for me as I live in an apartment, it's small per se yet holds enough and the pistol racks are amazing. I love how I can easily open it and it's bright inside so I can clearly see everything. This safe allows me to easily access my pistols when I want and keeps my granddaughter safe. It's a win win! If you're on the fence, it's worth every penny!!

These guys are amazing!!! I emailed customer service and actually got someone to answer several times so fast I thought it was an old email!! They took care of my issue right away. This company is amazing!!

Love it Easy to set up Easy to use Little small on inside

Overall, a good quality safe. It is my second one. This one arrived with a very small dent in the cover. Both my adult son and I noticed it immediately yet it is too small to mail back. On a positive note, the programming was very easy given the excellent instructions.

Awesome safe and great customer service with the company

Great product and build

Excellent quality and prompt communication and shipping

Great Products looking forward to reviewing one of the Vaultek Safe RS Series ..... @arm2protect_ @deejaypopkorn

I love the safe. It’s sturdy, secure, and the best of its type I’ve seen. Mine arrived with some minor paint defects but not enough to warrant the hassle of exchanging it.

My second time getting a safe. The first safe was destroyed in a fire but my firearms were undamaged. AMAZING.

Vaultek products and customer service are superb. The company provides exceptional care for its customers. They are extremely responsive, helpful, and quick to reply. Their communication is outstanding. I give them a 10/10 rating and I will be a loyal customer for life. I am completely happy, satisfied, and pleased with their products and the way in which they serve their customers. An extraordinary company by any measure.
