Amazing safe love love it best safe in the word

The RS200i safe is well made, easy to use and set up. The size is perfect for small spaces and you can store multiple firearms. Only change I would recommend is a back plate to mount to the wall. Most homes have baseboards that won’t allow the safe to mount flat to the wall. A back plate about 1.5” thick that can mount directly to the studs would allow the safe to mount flat. I created my own back plate using wood but steel would be better and probably more secure. Just an idea. Thats why I gave it 4 stars. I would give it 4.75 if possible.

Very nice quality. I wish I had ordered the RS500i after setting this one up and seeing how small it actually is.

Almost all accessories for the RS series are geared for the 500/800. I was able to fit a SIG Spear LT and a HK SP5 with 2 AR Mags using the included kit.

Impact detection is a bit annoying as it goes off at the slightest touch even on Low Sensitivity.

I do like it but I come a bit short of loving it. If you are unsure on which size you need between this and the RS500i, just spend the little extra and go up one size.

Absolutely amazing gun case and I will take it for 3 gun. Love that it’s all in one !!

I like my vaultek safes. I have multiple of them. I like the quality of them and their high tech technology. However when it works it's great but customer service is non existence when you reach out to them regarding an issues. One of my vaultek has an issue with the biometric fingerprints being lapse or delayed when using it and the response from them is that it's old technolgy and parts break and the last resort is to use the key. Mind you I have other similar vaulteks that does not do this so I can compare. Anyways I spend thousands of dollars on my vaultek for the biometric and keypad features and customer support tells me to use the key. To me spending that much money for my safes and getting the non existent support is horrible. I'll be looking for other brands from now on.

Fantastic product. Excellent service. My initial order was delivered within a week with constant communication along the way! With the incredible modularity I have placed two additional small orders for accessories to get my set up just right. Both additional orders shipped with in 48 hours! The one feedback item would be to add accessories to hold/holster handguns with attached suppressors! Current pistol attachments are either not deep enough or do not fit the diameter of the can. Easiest way may be to add option for peg board on sides of unit and create a new attachment for peg board to accommodate the can. Similar to the single pistol/AR mag attachment, but large enough to get the suppressor thru. The better option may be an attachment for the peg board that is just a heavy duty pistol magnet to hang pistol from. I have customized the left side of my safe to attach a magnet that holds the firearm but it would be much better to add as built in options when ordering. Can't add a picture here but I'd be happy to share. Keep it up! I'll definitely be adding a smaller safe to the "network"

The safe with quick access is exactly what I was looking for. The charger was a bonus as the space the safe takes on my night stand is limited. However, the charger is very sketchy and does not work without significant effort.

The safe arrived on time and is perfect for my handguns. I like the fact that I can carry it to the range with all my necessary gear inside.

Love the safe, but two things: - I wish it had a charger for an Apple watch - Fingerprint sensor rarely works for me

Great Saves overall. I Own RS200i and the NSL20i. The NSL20i (Slider Series) is unfortunately a bit small. The problem is not the lenght of the Pistol but the height. My Glock 17 fits just thight without Optics and i could imagine it would be a bit of a pain to get the Gun out with Optics on it. My Walther PDP is already slightly to tall without Optics. With them, you can‘t get the Gun out smoothly or even without getting caught on something at all.

I bought a shelf for my Vaultek RS200i safe and it works great for my ammo. I love the safe as well, very well built and great quality. I definitely recommend Vaultek.

I have multiple Vaultek products (2 safes, lockbox, lifepods). This purchase was for the RS200i safe. The safe is PERFECT for my needs. Shipping was fast and the product arrived in perfect condition. The functionality is fantastic. I had a question regarding using a key to open the safe, and customer service responded instantly, and solved my issue. Fantastic product and customer service!

I’ve owned an RS200i for about 7 months and it has a lot of features I like but there is plenty of room for improvement. I mounted mine to the studs in the wall and it is very secure. It’s not going anywhere. I programed the fingerprint reader to read both hands in case one hand is injured and it works perfectly every time. The LED interior lighting is adequate. The exterior door screen is neat but has a bunch of information that, to me at least, isn’t anything I would care about except the temp and humidity. But, the app has that, it works flawlessly with the safe and is easily at my fingertips on my smart phone. Things that Vaultek can work on: 1st -The price. Not worth what you get but, currently, no other company that I know of is offering a safe with all of these features in one package. So, basically they have no competition and they can ask whatever price they want. Also, for this price the safe should have a Fire and Water rating but it doesn’t. At just under 50 lbs, I think a cutting disc would make quick work of this safe. So, this is a smash-and-dash prevention safe, not a Fire and Water damage protection safe, nor a deterrent for a master thief. 2nd- availability. Supply can’t meet demand. A lot of potential customers are complaining that they can’t find them. I looked everywhere, locally and online, but couldn’t find the RS200i anywhere. After giving up, I stumbled across one at a gun shop and they only had the display left so I took it. 3rd - the Nano key (push button) only works within 6 feet of the safe. If I’m that close to the safe, why would I need the button? I tried it from 8 feet and beyond and it wouldn’t work at all. My plan was to mount it hidden close to my bedside so in case of an emergency home defense situation, I could hit the button as I’m jumping out of bed and the safe door would already start to open as I’m crossing the distance of about 10 feet from my bed to the safe. That’s not possible. So, the nano key, in its current configuration, is useless in my opinion. Lastly, the accessory mounts inside the safe won’t stay in place. Specifically, the barrel mounts and the AR mounts will completely detach if bumped with any weight on them. So if you don’t grab or place your AR very slowly and carefully in the mounts, they will very easily detach as soon as you bump them. The magnet alone is not strong enough to hold them in place. And this is caused by a design flaw. The hooks on the post that go into the pegboard holes go either left or right depending on how you have the accessory oriented. Why? Every pegboard system that I know of, the hooks go either up or down. Having the hooks positioned up or down would completely eliminate this problem. Luckily, I found a guy online that makes little magnetic inserts that fix this problem. Buyers should not have to buy extra items from another manufacturer to make something work. This is an easy fix, and hopefully Vaultek changes the design it the future. For me, the 3 main selling points of this safe were the RFID, the Nano Key and the modular interior. Only 1 of those work as advertised. If I had known this, I probably would’ve gone with an “under the bed” push-button system and spent about 1/4 of the money.

Great looking safe easy to mount. Could use pieces of extra foam to keep smaller weapons secure and not buried to deep to grab.

They need to package the products better when they are shipped. The way carriers handle packages (poorly) the sellers need to better secure their shipments.
