The ViSN app is currently only available for download in the U.S. Google Play and U.S. Apple App Store. ViSN safes require the ViSN app for setup and programming.

Setup is "super easy." Some reported email setup issues, reliability concerns after 2 years, and felt the price high for size limitations with shelving.
I am very pleased with this safe. The amount of accessories available for this model provide an endless amount of options for storing my firearms and magazines. The setup process was super easy and is extremely convenient. I only wish that VaultTek made these safes a little bit larger to accommodate more firearms. The magnets are super strong and provide more than enough holding power to stabilize every accessory I have used so far. I'd love to see some new options to store tactical knives and maybe another option to mount some of the smaller handgun safes (like the slider series) to the exterior of the safe. This would allow quick access to my EDC and/home defense handguns without having to drill holes in furniture to mount them. I currently store 5 Rifles and 8 pistols in the ViSN RS800i safe. I'm still playing around with various accessories to see which setup works best for me. So far, I am only storing handguns and rifles in this safe. Magazines and other gear are currently being displayed on a slat wall setup in order to maximize space. I would need a couple more of the RS800i models to store all my rifles and handguns which is why I would love to see a larger model come out. Overall, I think it's a great biometric safe and am pleased with my purchase.
Fantastic rifle safe! One of the best on the market, if not the best. I own a couple safes from Vaultek, including the V20 model from a few years ago, prior to the ViSN technology. The biometrics were not nearly as good as they are with the RS800i. Super responsive and quick. Also, love the amount of space available inside the safe. Plenty of room for several long guns and more. Well worth the price!
This is my third Vaultek safe I have purchased. I am amazed with the build quality and technology inside each safe. I have an MX series as well as a nightstand sliding safe. Now I have purchased the largest RS 800i safe. People who see the safe are immediately drawn to its features and numerous people have said, "I want to get one of those!" I am a huge fan of Vaultek! Well done Vaultek! They are located in Lake Mary, FL. That's about one hour from my home, which meant fast delivery!!! Very happy customer!
Great safe only flaws are not being able to reset the anti-tamper alarm easily with your fingerprint and the quad magazine holder only being able to hold standard 5.56 magazines and clunky mounting attachments.
Great safe, 5 stars if it were about 6 inches taller. Modularity is awesome
This is my second RS series safe. My first was the 500 and I couldn’t be happier with the purchase. The quality is outstanding and the setup was simple. My new RS 800 will give me room to add to my collection.
I love this safe. I wanted something that would give me quick access to my firearms if needed. I can use my finger print or punch in a quick code if needed. There is a log that documents when it was last opened, an alarm and notification if it was tampered with. This safe definitely brings us into the 21st century with its technology.

Does not work with my email. Have not been able to use it and set it up. Had I known this before hand I probably would have not bought it.
product was great for 2 years, then the safe had multiple issues. Had a case open using online support because nobody at Vaultek ever answered or called back from my message. After calling daily for 2 weeks someone actually answered. Support person said she would escalate. after couple more weeks they finally came back and said to send out new control board for me to replace. I replaced but only resolved 1 issue. They sent 2nd part but 2nd issue not resolved yet. The 3rd issue I actually figured out myself as the mechanism post and sprocket was stuck in open position i flipped it with a screwdriver. this has been ongoing issue for over 3 months. Finally someone answered phone again and to my surprise told me they would send a replacement safe. That was 2 weeks ago. no response to email ticket support or answering phone. I regret this purchase, after opening the door panels and part replacement- ITS JUNK
I’m really liking all of the features on this safe so far everything has been working fine and the quality is top notch. I wish I would’ve got one sooner.
Way overpriced for the size in my opinion. Cannot use full-size shelves and still hang any rifles on the door without special shelves
Great features, love the temp & humidity sensor/alerts. Only wish it were at least somewhat water resistant (the only useful 'fire protection' feature IMO).

Outstanding product delivered with outstanding service
I’ve had my RS800i safe for a couple years now. I love the app and alerts when the safe is opened or an incorrect code or fingerprint attempted to open it. I recently upgraded my WiFi router and couldn’t get it to connect. Customer support was great! They helped me edit a couple default settings in the new router and the safe began communicating with the app within a minute. Very satisfied with the safe and even more so with customer support!
This case is the best case out there. Extremely high quality, sharp design, and smart design. The modular storage system has a multitude of different configurations. Go to the range with a lot less gear and look good doing it all while having a little more peace of mind your setup is secure.
Originally bought another name brand that was just a lock, thought it would be OK, but at night time it was difficult to see the key with no lighting, and took a minute to get everything organized… So we upgraded to the biometric and code entry with light, and what a difference! So much easier and faster! Thank you so much

Seems a little different from the social media advertisement.
I purchased the RS800i as an additional safe in my home. I have several other Vaultek handgun safes and have appreciated the quality and innovation. As much as I like the RS800i, I have some serious reservations. First, other than instructions on how to download the app and set up the locking system and other programmable options, there is virtually nothing to detail the setup of the accessories that come with the safe. There is no place on Vaultek’s website where they offer instructions and tips on proper placement or alternative configurations for accessories. I purchased the optional accessory pack and even that included no instructions. The programming instructions were outdated, particularly as it applies to the ViSN Nano key. They referenced a previous model that had a charging port and a setup button, neither of which the new model has. I finally figured out the proper installation method through the app. Disappointing that a high quality product falls so short in terms of documentation and support.
Was initially excited about the purchase, and it's timely delivery. The only problem l had was, being able to fully customize it, I became totally engulfed in customizing it 👊🏾🤪. This became a challenge for me. I love it 💪🏾💙
Shipping and handling was fast and wonderful. Package was well packaged upon delivery. The RS800i is terrific for storing firearms for such a slim safe unlike other big, heavier, bulky safes. Convenient with its high tech and fun to customize the interior with its preinstalled peg board
it's a lil tight inside but big enough for a full size auto, extra mag and other stuff, the wireless charger, Id say is mediocre at best, but thats not why I bought the vault anyway so it'll do, I like it, I like the finger release and that it comes with 2 keys as well, it's very nice, worth the money
