Vaultek is committed to providing high-quality products. We guarantee our safes to be free of defects in materials or workmanship based on the following tiered warranty structure.

1. Warranty Coverage Periods

Tier 1: Two-Year Total Coverage

Includes a one (1) year manufacturer’s warranty, plus one (1) additional year upon product registration (Total: 2 Years).

  • Applicable Models: LifePod X, LifePod 10, LifePod 20, LifePod Humidor, LifePod XE, and all Barikade models.

Tier 2: Three-Year Total Coverage

Includes a two (2) year manufacturer’s warranty, plus one (1) additional year upon product registration (Total: 3 Years).

  • Applicable Models: LifePod XR/XT/XRC and all metal safes (excluding Barikade).

2. Warranty Terms & Conditions

This warranty applies only to safes purchased and operated inside the U.S. The warranty applies only to the original purchaser, must be from an authorized dealer, and is non-transferable.

Exclusions:

The warranty does not cover defects or damage caused by:

  • Abuse, misuse, neglect, or accidents.

  • Use in any manner for which the product was not designed.

  • Modifications, tampering, or unauthorized repairs.

  • Damage inadvertently caused by the user.

Liability:

Neither the seller nor the manufacturer is liable for any injury, loss, or damage (direct or consequential) arising from the use of, or inability to use, the safe.

3. Repair and Inspection Procedures

In-Warranty Service

If Vaultek Support determines that repairs or inspection are required for a safe covered under warranty, Vaultek will provide:

  • A prepaid return shipping label.

  • Full coverage of all repair costs (parts and labor).

  • Return shipping of the repaired item to the customer.

Customer Responsibilities:

  • Safely packaging the safe to prevent damage during transit.

  • Providing return tracking information to Support.

Out-of-Warranty Service

If a safe is outside of its warranty period—or if the damage is due to exclusions (misuse, tampering, etc.)—repairs may still be performed. In these cases, Vaultek will provide:

  • Return shipping of the repaired or replaced safe back to the customer.

Customer Responsibilities:

  • Safely packaging the safe to prevent shipping damage.

  • The shipping cost to the Vaultek repair facility (Note: No drop-offs accepted).

  • Providing return tracking information.

  • Payment of a modest repair fee.

4. How to Submit a Claim

To initiate a claim, visit the Vaultek Warranty Support page and complete the Claim Form. You will need:

  1. Proof of Purchase: Date and retailer.

  2. Product Details: Model and Product Number (P/N) (found on the battery cover or manual).

  3. Description: A detailed explanation of the issue (photos/video are recommended).

Vaultek® guarantees your safe will be free of defects in materials or workmanship for a period of one year from the date of original purchase from an authorized dealer.

This warranty does not cover abuse, misuse, use in any manner for which is not designed, neglected, modification, damage inadvertently caused by the user, accidents and/or tampering.

Neither seller nor manufacturer shall be liable for any injury, loss or damage, direct or consequential, arising out of the use of, or the inability to use the Vaultek® safe.
