The ViSN platform redefines the entire user experience. With the ViSN app you can intuitely program your safe by app guided programming, customize your settings and alert preferences, and stay informed at all times from anywhere with live notifications and alerts.
The top mounted control panel houses an optional 360˚ High Resolution Biometric Scanner, 8 digit Smart Sense™ backlit capacitive keypad, and LCD screen. The built-in proximity sensor illuminates the keypad when your hand is near.
With up to (3) accessory slots available, you can mix and match accessories to create a setup that’s tailored just for you. A twin pistol rack module is included, and a variety of other pistol racks and magazine racks are available separately.
ViSN model only: Monitor the safe’s interior temperature/humidity and set thresholds to alert you if any changes occur. Vaultek’s DMT (Dynamic Motion Tracking) system uses an accelerometer to monitor the safe and can sound an audible alarm if an impact is detected.

High-quality biometric safe with premium build and reliable features. Customers praised "fast, reliable" biometrics, app connectivity, and "large capacity." Some noted price concerns ("expected more for the price") and occasional software inconsistencies. Setup is straightforward, though battery should be charged first.
Very nice safe, the features are great. I enjoy receiving notice when access or tamper is noted, it helps give peace of mind when I'm not around. I'm glad I invested the money and am looking to get the rifle version also.
Excellent product. Easy to setup via the app and tweak for personal preference (ex internal lighting intensity, sound, alarms, alerts, etc). Very solid, heavy, but easy access via biometrics which are smooth and not finicky. Easy 5/5 and would recommend.
My only complaint is it needs to be 2 inches taller.

Great looking safe and high quality. Biometrics work great so far with no issues. Integrated app is easy to navigate. Only downside for me is the price. Very expensive for. At $100 cheaper, I could see things being sold out quick.

Had a safe for a couple years and it was fantastic. I ended up needing to have it serviced. They were quick and thorough. After a couple weeks, the same issue started to arise. They decided to send a complete upgraded safe. Great service, and a great product as well.
Was having an issue with my MX safe and it not keeping a connection to WiFi and the screen frequently resetting itself. I emailed customer support and got a prompt replying diagnosing the issues as a battery that needs to be replaced. My general experience with emailing companies for questions and support has been that my email goes into a blackhole. Not the case with Vaultek here. I got a very quick replay and every subsequent reply was very fast and efficient.

PROS: Good quality safe, with room for 4 to 6 handguns with ammo. Security features are very solid, various options to open and close the safe. CONS: Price is high, and shipping to Puerto Rico was +$100.

Great material, best gun safe i had so far.
I very much like the setup. I chose the Essential MX so I could have a "basic" setup (no network connectivity) but still have bluetooth access, if needed. Very well laid out. I did get the extra magazine and pistol/magazine inserts which are great for my needs.

The only difficulty I experienced was in making my first Vaultek safe choice from so many great products. In the end I went with the MX series. Though I am new to shooting I caught the bug quickly and was glad I purchased a safe with plenty of room for a growing pistol collection. Outstanding product and company.

1. Alarm is to sensitive. 2. Build quality needs improvement 3. Biometrics are mediocre compared to what’s available 4. Lightweight and easy to pick up and walk away with 5. Needs a constant power source, which becomes very frustrating 6. Key lock is finicky
This is one of the best safes out there. It is a little bit pricey but it is really slick I love it.

I really can appreciate a good product. I had shopped around and thought I should look for a bargain in vehicle gun vault. But after doing my research I felt that do to the sensitive nature of locking a firearm in your vehicle should be taken seriously. So I opted to pay a little more and get the Vaultek Safe. I am glad I did. It is quite rugged and good looking at the same time. Easy to set up and use.
