LifePod XT Range Edition

I love vaultek, i currently have 5 of their safes and pods.
XT is a great pod but please keep in mind competition guns dont fit 100%. I have XC staccato and it does not fit with the light also i need to remove the tray to store the XC and to get my pistol
Out i need to remove the tray again.

Now that is not a deal breaker for me and i will probably purchase this case again. All i am trying to

I picked up the Vaultek LifePod XT Range Edition and honestly, I’m really impressed with it.

Right out of the box, it just feels solid. Not cheap or flimsy at all this thing feels like it can take a beating and still protect what’s inside. I’ve used it for range trips and keeping stuff secure in my vehicle, and it’s been perfect for both.

The inside setup is probably my favorite part. The tray keeps everything organized gun, mags, ammo so you’re not just throwing everything in one pile. Makes a big difference when you’re trying to grab what you need quickly.

The keypad is simple and works every time. No lag, no guessing if it’s going to open. Just punch it in and you’re in. That’s huge for me.

It’s also a good size easy to carry around but still has enough room for everything I need. Doesn’t feel bulky, but doesn’t feel small either.

Battery life has been good so far, and having the backup key is a nice safety net.

Only downside it’s a little pricey, but honestly you can tell where the money goes. It’s built right.

Bottom line if you want something tough, organized, and reliable for the range or travel, this is definitely worth it. I’d buy it again without hesitation.

Very nice and solid but two issues: lock is difficult to set up and gun foam pulls out with the gun. Thank CA for this purchase, but it is a secure pistol and I am glad to have it.

Finally, a case that can fit my full-size pistols with optics and weapon lights. XR was not tall enough but still a good case for my compacts.

I own multiple Vaultek cases. All of them work as described; however, this one exceeds my expectations. The LifePod XT Range Edition case not only carries my guns, mags, and, as a surprise for me, my suppressors. One location for everything from the guns to the tax stamps to meet government rules. Well done Vaultek.

REALLY Disappointed it does not fit full size pistols (5") especially with a flared mag-well and weapon light not sure how this gets missed really dropped the ball

My thoughts:
- Pros:
• it holds my guns securely.
• it’s easy to set up
• it’s convenient
-Cons:
• Specifically my staccato P with a threaded barrel had some trouble being placed into the gun rack. But by removing my light on the gun, which was an X 300 surefire it fit.
• My Glock, my staccato’s (HD P 4.5 & P), and my echelon struggled to fit in the gun rack due to the flashlights on them. They will fit if the flashlight is small and skinny, but if you’re using any gun lights bigger, you’re gonna have some trouble or might have to remove it.
• not alot of room to put extra magazines in, especially where they have that skinny pouch, it can fit a couple more mags, but that’s it.

Overall, it is something that I have been looking for besides a pelican case where security is a bigger concern I would’ve gave it five stars if my gun light would’ve fit in there. I am impressed. I would recommend this to somebody. I would say the diagram is close enough to fitting size.

Solid case and easy to set up. Holds a ton of stuff and love that I can tether the steel cable in my car and not have to worry about someone stealing my guns if I need to run into the store on my way back from the range. Put an AirTag in the case as well for added security.

Fantastic range safe, absolutely love it. The only thing that can be improved is the foam inserts will sometimes pull out with the firearm. I will try to put some spray trim adhesive on them to solve this problem. I think they should do this at the factory.

Good product but for the price I thought it was made in USA. I like the product but I can't justify the price. The clasp feels cheap and flimsy as well.

Love the XT Range Edition. Plenty of storage for weapon accessories and tools. The modularity is very nice, and you get the added benefit of a vaultek safe as well.

I took this to the range the other day with 3 pistols, 5 magazines, and various ammo and it was perfect! The only reason no 5th star is that one of the foam gun inserts kept coming out with the gun! Needs better adhesive.

Build quality is out of thi world. Fits my items perfectly, plenty of room for whatever you need to secure and carry.

weather resistant: Works perfectly. I've used it probably a hundred times by now and it hasn't failed once. Fast, reliable, no complaints.

foam interior: Another solid feature that works as advertised. I use it all the time and it adds real value.

Perfect size for the console. It fits my lifestyle perfectly and gives me real peace of mind.

The only minor thing I'd mention is to fully charge it before first use — I was eager and tried to use it right away but the battery was low out of the box. Once charged, it's been flawless.

Giving the XT RANGE EDITION 4 stars. The product itself is premium and the large capacity is solid. Flies with me everywhere. Only reason for 4 instead of 5 is the battery could last a bit longer between charges. But I'd still recommend it without hesitation.

Giving the XT Range Edition 3 stars for now. The hardware and build quality are genuinely good. But the large capacity has been inconsistent and the setup process was more frustrating than it should have been. Customer support helped eventually. I think with some software updates this could be a 5-star product.

Vaultek really nailed it with the XT RANGE EDITION. No issues at TSA. The weather resistant is executed perfectly. The foam interior adds another layer of value. This is how every product in this space should be built.
