Just purchased the SL2i and having to return it the same day. The safe does appear to be great quality but unfortunately the Fitment Guide did not say the lower half of the Optics Pocket was narrower. Therefore, my Glock 17 Gen 6 with a Holosun 507C-X3 would not fit as the optics hit about 1/2 way down the optics pocket and the door would not close. I am bummed. Off to look for another safe!

Locked myself out due to my own fault and couldn’t find the key. Customer service was exceptional and it wound up that I had to breach the unit to open it. It’s a pretty tough little fellow! You don’t have to worry about someone casually getting it open. I would highly recommend Vaulteksafe!

Easy to install. Heavy duty. I rest easy knowing my kids aren’t going to access my gun. I installed this on my key and wallet drawer so I can grab my EDC as I’m walking out the door every day. Very convenient. It’s also nice that it is portable so I could mount a bracket in my car or on my nightstand and move the slider safe as necessary.

The slides under furniture is in a completely different league compared to what I was using. Fast, accurate, and reliable. The keypad lock is something my old safe didn't even have, and now I wonder how I lived without it.

Mostly impressed with the SLIDER ESSENTIAL. Super discreet. The quick access and slides under furniture both work well. The only area for improvement is the app — it's functional but could use a UX refresh. The hardware itself is excellent though and that's what matters most.

quick access: Works perfectly. I've used it probably a hundred times by now and it hasn't failed once. Fast, reliable, no complaints.
slim profile: Another solid feature that works as advertised. I use it all the time and it adds real value.
Mounted under my desk. It fits my lifestyle perfectly and gives me real peace of mind.
The only minor thing I'd mention is to fully charge it before first use — I was eager and tried to use it right away but the battery was low out of the box. Once charged, it's been flawless.
