Description
More Refined, Full-Size capability, and upgraded layered storage. This is the LifePod 20. Building on the successful LifePod platform, LifePod 20 brings capability to store full-size handguns, features a removable interior tray for more storage potential, and an interior LED light.
- Portable safe with a secure BUILT-IN LOCK SYSTEM. Integrating Vaultek’s precision-engineered safe technology and anti-impact latch design, LifePod 20 travel cases feature a built-in lock allowing you to quickly lock LifePod 20 for added security when needed.
- TOUCH ACTIVATED KEYPAD. A unique backlit LED capacitive keypad provides entry of the master code to unlock and quick press to lock action when locking. An all-new LED interior light illuminates the contents in low light.
- Vaultek engineered a proprietary material blend to provide LIGHTWEIGHT characteristics with SUPERIOR STRENGTH for the ultimate impact-resistant rugged lock box.
- DUAL SIDE COMPRESSION LATCHES combine with an inner rubber gasket to form a watertight seal. LifePods are water resistant, airtight, dust proof, and float in water.
- Can be used without a battery and still function as a waterproof case. Powered by a 9V alkaline battery (not included) with a battery life of up to one year under normal use. The front rubber keyhole cover disguises an integrated micro-USB port to power the unit in case of a dead battery. A unique KEY LOCK FEATURE can be enabled from the interior to disable the front keyway and prevent the lock from being picked open.

I currently own two safes from Vaultek, a LifePod 2.0 and a Barikade series 2. I started having some problems with my Barikade after a year of frequent use. Vaultek is great! I had an issue with one of their safes that I purchased a couple years back. They quickly troubleshooted the problem with me, and after that didn’t work, I sent it to them and they replaced all parts that weren’t functioning correctly. Great service, and a great product!

I've had two safes from Vaultek for a few years, the VS20i and the Lifepod 2.0. My wife and I like them. The fingerprint sensors work well and they feel sturdy and well made. Recently, the VS20i battery started dying quickly and wouldn't connect to the app. I reached out to support. They responded very quickly, asked a few diagnostic questions and then had me send in the safe. It was repaired quickly and sent back to me working perfectly. Very happy with the product and the service.

A new customer, but a very satisfied one. I bought a lifepod 20 and had it for a few months and started to notice the paint was coming off at the bottom of the safe. I submitted a warranty claim and they immediately are sending out a new replacement order. Very happy with the support I had.

I purchased a few products: The Smart station, life pod 2.0, one life pod 1.0 and and X series. The smart station is fantastic! It’s great to have my gun locked away from my kids but at the same time have access to it in an emergency. Plus it looks cool on my nightstand and it charges All my electronics. The life pod 2 is great as it’s advertised…. The only issue I have is even with my hellcat pro I still cannot fit a gun underneath the accessory rack …. So I would recommend adding what size gun will fit in order to use it as the video shows. The foam is good but your gun will move around like crazy unless you get the extra pull apart foam or get on a website to make the custom foam for your specific gum and magazines. But overall it’s great to have for my car and in case I need it for traveling. The life pod 1.0 will be for my daughter’s college dorm room for all her personal belongings. The X series is for my emergency cash and jewelry safe place.

I had bought a Lifepod 2.0 almost two years ago. Until recently I purchased a gun and decided to start using the safe. In the interim of two years I moved lost the keys to the safe and forgot the passcode. I reached out Vaultek not thinking they would help since it had almost been two years. They reached out immediately and offered to fix the problem. I sent my safe and I just received it today 05/31/25. They were very quick and efficient with fixing the problem. Also, just want to point out their customer service such amazing people to work with. 10/10 recommend.

I have the lifepod 2.0 with biometrics. The ease of use with the biometric reader and number combination is unmatched. My Glock 19 with radian ramjet one mag and 20 round ammo container fits perfectly. I appreciate the Apple airtag pocket. Let's not forget the light shining towards the inside of the case. It was a little difficult to choose which one I wanted, but that was the toughest part of the process. The safe was easy to set up, easy to re-set the password on, and is exactly what I wanted. It stows perfectly under the seat in my car, and also in the closet space I set up for it. It’s sturdy without being heavy and I can tuck it under my arm. Highly recommend and I’ll be buying another in due course.

Great bag at a great price. The bag fit my LifePod 20 like a glove. The bag is very well made and sturdy. The only negative is the snap clip that is used to hold the bag in place crossbody. It broke the first time I used it. However, the Vaultek customer service folks were quick to respond and replace the bag for me. I highlly recommend the bag and Vaultek products.
